CIAG Sessions

What is an Information, Advice and Guidance session?

Information, Advice and Guidance sessions are designed to teach you about the Apprenticeship process, including what happens during and after your apprenticeship. Things that are covered in IAG sessions include:

  • benefits of an apprenticeship
  • employability skills
  • life skills (confidence building, networking, understanding payslips)
  • vocational information (what specific jobs involve, key skills or attributes, entry requirements, training routes)
  • labour market information
  • job and apprenticeship search
  • application forms
  • CV writing
  • interview skills
  • career progression opportunities
  • further training

How we can help you?

Getting the right advice and guidance is crucial before and during your Apprenticeship. At Capital 4 Training, we strive to empower learners and employers so that they can make the right choices regarding learning, career, work, and life. You can access information, guidance, and support at any time, including before you sign up, during your learning journey, and after completion.

Set up an IAG Session

If you ever have any questions about what doors your apprenticeship can open for you, how it can help your long-term career progression, further training it can lead to, or any other queries, don’t hesitate to ask. You can schedule an IAG session with your trainer, or by emailing our support team at info@capital4training.org.uk
