An Emergency First Aid At Work course could help you when it counts. The course is designed to give essential life saving first aid skills to adults, the course will also help you to learn the current work place health and safety regulations. Throughout this course the learner will be taught:
The course is held in a classroom. It’s a practical hands-on day long course. The learner will be taught and put in a variety of scenarios with a teacher there to give advice and get notes and tips as they go.
The learner will be provided with a training pack covering the material on the course. This course doesn’t have a final exam, the qualification is earned on the day through practical training, questions and answers from a seasoned professional.
You can only undertake this course if you are enrolled on the Highways Maintenance Skilled Operative course or the Road Surfacing Operative course.
This course will take 6 hours to complete.
There are no formal entry requirements.
The learner must be 16 years old by the start date of the course.
Upon completion, learners will be awarded with an E.F.A.a.W. Licence, which valid for 3 years.
