The digital apprenticeship service was designed to help employers to access Apprenticeship standards, Government approved Training Providers and funding for the apprenticeships.
What can I use the funds for?
Once you have it, you can spend your allowance on training. The training will be through Government approved training providers. You can also use it to train new staff members as well as existing staff members. This is great for up-skilling your existing staff.
What will I need to access my new funds?
There are two things that you’ll need to access your new funds:
- Your Government Gateway login details for your PAYE schemes.
- Your organisation companies house number or charity number.
Make sure you have these two things if you’re looking to access your new funds from the D.A.S.
Is there anything else I need to do?
You also need to sign a contract with the ESFA, this must be done directly with the ESFA.
- Select an Organisation
- Add a training provider
- Confirm your training provider
- Start adding apprentices
What happens when I’m done?
Once you have created the account you will be able to see a forecast and utilisation of the levy funds.
You are also able to set up other users on the account, manage your apprenticeships, view any payments you’ve made to your training provider, see your balance, and stop or pause a payment.
